Go-Giver and Deliver: Transform being a go-getter into being a go-giver.
by David Zinger
- Harvey Schachter, my favorite business book reviewer writing in Canada’s Globe and Mail wrote a review of The Go-Giver that piqued my attention.
- My instant thought was, “not another one of these fables!” yet Harvey is a careful critic of business literature and not one to just take a bite out of anyone who moves cheese so he got my attention with his positive review of the book.
- The Go-Giver using a fable format offers 5 powerful laws: value, compensation, influence, authenticity, and receptivity.
- For example, the law of value states that your worth is based on how much more you give in value than how much you take in payment.
- You may not learning something you didn’t already know but the story can help you ease up on being a Go-getter and leverage The Go-Giver laws to get yourself going in a richer direction.

Hi David,
I agree that the fable approach is getting a little out of control, but this one looks interesting, so I’ll check it out.
I like these 5 sentence reviews, by the way. They’re a great way to cover books succinctly without spending your life writing them, and you’ve also branded them creatively. Great work!

Alexandra,
Thanks for the feedback on my 5 sentence feedback about the book. With the name of Zinger I better get more concise.
Enjoy and go-giver!
