Going for the gold.. in your business

Olympic champ (2 golds thus far) Michael Phelps, said something today that we should all take to heart when running a business.

dive into businessTo continue striving for his best, he doesn’t think about his past wins or use his gold medals to boost his own ego.

What does this have to do with you?

There’s a lot of small business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors who use their wins as crutches.  They don’t see that every day  is a new one with new challenges.

By all means, when you win, celebrate. But dive back in to continue winning. Sign off

  1. I would have to agree with you on not becoming complacent with success. There should always be a drive to want MORE from your business. If there isn’t, perhaps your in the wrong line of work!

  2. It is not only with success that we can become complacent, but also the set backs. I like Michael’s philosophy. Live for today’s race because that is all that you really have.
