This ad was written by someone who has never worked in publishing before. Know how I know that? Because everyone in the business knows how important it is to have a good editor. Without a good editor you may as well just market your magazine to the kitty litter companies, because that’s where it’s going to end up.















Yes, yes, yes. I don’t understand why folks think, “Hey, I’ve read magazines before, so I’m qualified to start one!” It doesn’t make any sense. Jsut because you’ve been to the dentist before doesn’t mean you’re now qualified to perform a root canal, so why should any other job be different? Sheesh.
