Google Calendar Supports iCal

December 3, 2008 by Juan Magdaraog

Google Calendar has finally rolled out support for iCal via the CalDAV protocol. iCal users can now sync their calendars with Google Calendar and have an online solution for syncing calendars. This is a great option if you don’t want to pay for Mobile Me.

There’s also a setup program available to help you get started. You can download it here.

Get started with CalDAV here.

Well I know what I’m doing when I get home tonight, just blogged it myself. What do you think, going to be an early adopter and give it a go?

  2. Juan says:

I think I’ll try it over the weekend. I must admit I’m not a Google Calendar user but if this works as advertised I might just become one.
