About a month ago, it appeared that Google was on the verge of buying AdScape Media, which started in Ottawa before moving its corporate HQ to Silicon Valley (Most of the R&D is sitll done in Ottawa, though). Anyway, PaidContent reports that discussions may have fallen apart with Google now exploring other options ot get into the in-video game advertising market. PaidContent said the purchase pricing being thrown around was $20-million to $30-million. See this earlier post for more details on AdScape.
