Google Frees FeedBurner Paid Services

When Google bought Urchin, it turned a $5,000/month service into the free Google Analytics. When Google bought popular feed management service FeedBurner, I expected them to make FeedBurner’s paid services free as well.
Google has lived up to my expectations. FeedBurner’s premium services, Stats Pro and MyBrand, are now free. Stats Pro allows for detailed site statistics, while MyBrand puts FeedBurner-managed feeds on your domain. FeedBurner’s already widely-used among top feed publishers; with Google’s backing, it could well become a de facto standard for feed management. AdSense for Feeds will almost certainly be integrated into FeedBurner; FeedBurner’s ad program could eventually become as open as AdSense itself. Easier RSS monetization will only lead to wider RSS adoption.
When Google bought Measure Map, they integrated elements from its beautiful interface into Google Analytics. I expect Google to integrate Stats Pro into Google Analytics, and MyBrand into Google Apps.
