Google Hits the Airwaves

January 18, 2006 by Jayvee Fernandez

Google apparently isn’t content to own the advertising business on the web. It has now bought dMarc, a company that acts as a go between between advertisers and radio. I’m sure we won’t notice anything because there’s already too many damn commercials on the radio! However, this is interesting from a business perspective because, if nothing else, Google has demonstrated its finesse in the advertising market.

Can anyone say “Adwaves”?
