Google Images Gets a Facelift
Google Images was updated overnight with a much cleaner look. The most noticeable changes was removal of the row background color (light-blue), removal of the file’s size and dimensions (in pixels), and removal of the originating site’s URL. The removed information is re-revealed once an image is hovered.
This move (as always) had lovers and haters, where lovers liked the cleaner look, and haters complained that the removal of the green url line is bad for business.
GoogleBlogoscoped has a nice before & after images.
