Google Is Number 1

Who would have ever thought? Google is still number one as a brand and it sure has been able to beat other strong brands like Coca Cola and Microsoft. For last year, Google is the most valuable brand and with that comes huge revenues. The brand is currently worth over $86.1 billion and that number is up by 30% a year earlier. Following Google on the top valuable brands are (2) General Electric, (3) Microsoft, (4) Coca Cola, and (5) China Mobile.

The list of most valuable brands actually is the result of a survey done. This survey asks over a million consumers from around the world to share their thoughts and ideas on various brands that are estimated to be around 50,000 in number. In the most recent survey, Google took the top spot. And that spot is something really huge. Imagine, two years ago, the search engine was only listed as seventh while Microsoft was on top.
