Google News is Out of Beta

Google News is officially out of beta. The service which was launched in September of 2002 is now offering 22 regional editions in 10 languages, and have a better sense of how people use Google News.

    But only the English version, isn’t it? At least the German one is still marked as Beta…

    Yea, I think it depends on the sources and processing data accurately. Since they are launching new languages as they go, it may take time before getting them out of beta.

    Either way, with the tag “Beta” they seem to shield themselves from problems, as a beta program is destined to make errors…
