Google Pack

There’s just absolutely no doubt in my mind that Google is working toward a web based OS. They deny it. Speculators speculate about it. Their denial might just be enough for me to buy into except when they deploy software like Google Pack.
Google Pack is billed as a software essential pack for Windows XP. It includes some Google mainstays like Google Earth, Picasa, and the Google Desktop Search. It also makes sure you can’t browse without the Google Toolbar which it installs on Internet Explorer and it deploys as an addition to Mozilla Firefox (also included).
It does also include Symantec Antivirus, Adobe Acrobat Reader 7, and Adaware SE Personal.
I guess Google is calling this the war on non-free software.
