Google to Challenge Paypal

TechCrunch has an interesting scoop on the much-rumored Google payment system that would challenge Paypal for its role as the “king of the payment method hill”.
I’m not sure I’d want to give my credit card information to a company who didn’t even put up a fight about releasing search data to the feds. What if the Feds wanted all the payment transactions too? Hmmm?
Google, of all the major search engines, did put up a fight. I’m not quite sure what you mean there…
