Got Blood? Trade it For Red Sox World Series Tickets

If you’re a World Series fan, or not, you can now benefit a good cause. Starting today through the end of the World Series, you can win tickets to see the playoffs in exchange for a blood donation. Sounds different, doesn’t it?
For years, the Red Sox ball team has partnered with the American Red Cross to give away tickets for home games. They figured, this time for the World Series game, attracting donors in exchange for a coveted ticket would be a huge crowd-drawer. Since no one knows who the lucky winner will be, (there will be a drawing held) everyone benefits either from increased blood donations to a feeling of “good-will.”
So, if you’re out by Fenway park, give it a shot. Leave a blood donation. Today could be your lucky day and you could walk off with a possible winning ticket.
Or, an awesome feeling of good will. Good Luck!

Dear Kristen and Bridget,
Just came across your blog and am really enjoying it. There aren’t enough women blogging about business and women in business. Keep up the good work– and Go Sox!
