Kudos to GPS Maniac for sponsoring two YouTube videos from established YouTubers. They did the right thing by giving Jill and Kevin creative control over the sponsored videos, letting them work with the personal styles their subscribers have come to love.
Authentic individual voice is vital in online media, and online video is no exception. Talking heads reading spoonfed scripts might work on TV, but not here. The best way for sponsors to approach this medium is to respect authentic individual voice.
Thanks for the shout out. It’s great to do these when the sponsor gives you room to entertain and not jam messages down the throat!
