Great Blog Off Tip #1: Ditch Magazines and Newspapers

Yeah, you heard me: Toss them. Once you’re finished reading the daily paper, put it straight into the recycling bin to keep mountains of newsprint from piling up on your coffee table or in your office.
Same with magazines. If there’s an article you particularly want to save, tear it out and toss the rest. I like to take my gently used magazines to the hospital, where they are always thrilled to have new reading material for reception areas and patient rooms.
How do you choose which magazines to keep and which to let go? Leave a comment.

i dog-ear pages with great images on them as i read magazines, then tear them out and toss the rest of the mag… then i sort the torn-out pages into an accordion file to use later in collage projects.
I rip out pages that inspire me and articles I want to read later. I stick inspirational stuff in a composition book and put the articles in a folder. Then I read them when I have time without having piles of magazines lying around the house. :)
