The men’s basketball team from Greece is heading to the Beijing Olympic Games after trouncing Puerto Rico 88-63 in the semifinals of the 2008 FIBA Olympic qualifiers in Athens this past weekend.  Theódoros “Theo” Papaloukás, who scored nine points and 10 assists said: “Everybody considered us favorites, but it’s very hard to show it on the court. We were very well prepared and we did the best on the court.”

Congratulations to Greece!  Even though Canada was eliminated, I’m still going to be watching.  I’m sure it’s going to be great since underdog Croatia has come out of nowhere.
