Green Auditing: A Growing Career Path

While the rest of the job market is spiraling down the tubes, green job options are only increasing. Today, I read an interesting report at GreenBiz.com about a Maryland company offering environmental training for those interested in green auditing.

Beginning in August, Strategic Sustainability Consulting will be teaching a certification class to help train new small business auditors. The demand for this job is growing – SSC alone has a network of over 250 freelance consultants who work with small businesses to help them go green.

More and more often, larger corporations are hiring green auditors permanently, so on top of freelancing, you can use this green certification to land a corporate gig.
