Green Beer: Not just for St. Patrick’s Day

green beer Anheuser-Busch is greening their beer – or at least their trucking methods. In response to the alcohol company’s dedication to reduce emissions, the EPA has given them a $150,000 grant as parts of the Northeast Diesel Collaborative.

And what are they doing with that money? They’re converting 15 trucks from their fleet to closed crankcase systems with multi-stage filters. What does that mean? Hell if I know…but what I DO know is that it means a reduction of emissions by an outstanding 70-80%.

So raise up a Bud and toast A-B for taking steps to green their fleet.
