Green Coffee at McDonald’s

McDonald's I love McDonald’s coffee. LOVE. So, I’m super excited that the fast food restaurant is going to begin selling environmentally certified coffee beginning in 2009.

The “green” coffee will first be sold at McDonald’s 600+ Australian and New Zealand locations. The joe is certified by the Rainforest Alliance, which deals with farmers who are paid fairly and provided equipment to run their farms responsibly.

The environmentally certified coffee comes from Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica. You can read more about this story at GreenBiz.
