I suppose it’s appropriate that 20th Century Fox teamed up with IHOP to promote its newest Dr. Seuss movie release with Jim Carrey, Horton Hears a Who. What’s the connection you ask? Why, it’s green eggs and ham, of course!
For a limited time only, IHOP is offering a Dr. Seuss-inspired menu including offerings such as Who-Cakes, The Mayor’s Breakfast, Beezlenut Splash, Jo-Jo’s Breakfast and naturally, green eggs and ham.
You can see pictures of all the colorful meals on the IHOP and Horton Hears a Who web page. They look very unappetizing, but I’m sure many people will try them for fun, and kids will certainly want to try them.
What do you think of this promotion? More importantly, would you be brave enough to try Who-Cakes? Based on the videos I found on YouTube of a girl named Emma trying IHOP’s Who-Cakes and Beezlenut Splash, you might want to bring some extra money with you, because it’s very likely you will not like your Who-Cakes. But perhaps that’s part of IHOP’s plan.
