Green Jobs from Home: December 8, 2008

Just two jobs today. Hopefully, there will be more next week, but I know a lot of websites aren’t hiring right now with the poor economy and the holidays coming up!

Normally, this site caters to the small business owner, but I’m willing to bet that many of you reading here are just professionals in your field. So, to you, I’m bringing “Green Jobs from Home.” Posted every Monday, this list will ONLY include telecommuting jobs related to the environment (most will be for writing and web design jobs, but you never know what I’ll find).

So, check back every Monday afternoon for a list of green jobs you can do from home. Today’s list:

Green Blogger: Smith Energy seeks an experienced professional blogger to establish and maintain a new corporate blog focused on community-based/grass roots renewable energy. BA at minimum, Masters preferred, and you must have experience in the renewable energy/environmental industry. Read more here.

Green Parenting Blogger: Seventh Generation is looking for a parent or couple to write a green parenting blog. Read more here.

You can find more freelance writing jobs here (though they are not all green-related), and you can find more green-related jobs here (though some of them are location-specific or full-time).

Note: These jobs, unless otherwise noted, are not offered from b5media or Greener Assets, so apply with caution. If you come across any jobs that you think are spam or scams, please contact me right away so I can remove it. Also contact me if you have a green telecommute job opening that you’d like me to list next week! Paying jobs only please!

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
