I’m starting a new weekly feature here at Greener Assets. Normally, this site caters to the small business owner, but I’m willing to be that many of you reading here are just professionals in your field. So, to you, I’m bringing “Green Jobs from Home.” Posted every Monday, this list will ONLY include telecommuting jobs related to the environment (most will be for writing and web design jobs, but you never know what I’ll find).
So, check back every Monday afternoon for a list of green jobs you can do from home. Today’s list:
Contributing Editor: One of the areas this magazine needs covered is “the green revolution.” Pay is listed as $0.02 per word plus five copies of the issue in which you appear. Read more here.
Writer for the Inspired Economist: Green Options Media is looking for a blogger to update their site 2-3 times per week on sustainable business, economics, and current affairs. Pay is per post. Read more here.
Tech Expert/Co-founder: Co-founder wanted to join in a tech start-up working in a Green and Sustainable industry. Deep OS knowledge is needed. This isn’t a paying position per se, but you’ll have an equal stake in the company. Read more here.
Sierra Club Lifestyles Editor: I’m not sure if this position is telecommute or not, so if anyone applies and finds out let me know! They’re looking for someone to oversee and contribute to The Green Life blogs, the Club’s website, their radio show, and more. This looks like a full-time position, so salary should be excellent. Green Blogger: This ad is a little vague, but compensation is listed as “negotiable.” This looks like a great option for someone who wants to break into the industry. Read more here.
