GroundedFitness Walking DVD Giveaway

I’m back! We had a big storm last night that knocked out my power, but I’m back and I come baring gifts!!

Karen from Pink Ribbon Review was kind enough to give us a Prevention Walking DVD as a giveaway, cause she knew you would all appreciate it.

If you are also confused how you do a walking routine while watching TV, click here for a review.

(How much do you appreciate it? Head to her site, and let her know!)

Walking is the most convenient form of exercise that everyone can do. Well, not everyone, but if you can’t walk you probably don’t want the DVD. Unless you have become pretty good at walking on your hands, in which, who am I to judge?

So how do you get your grubby mits on this fantastic giveaway?

You all know I’m on my own little mission to become a runner, but many of you have no desire to.

Show/tell me why walking is better than running, and I’ll pick the best entry next Monday, Sept 1st.

Pictures earn points, but creativity is what’s most important.

Put your best foot forward!

Hmmn… Walking is better than running because:

    - You’re much less likely to get a speeding ticket.
(Okay, in my case that’s not the most likely scenario, but it is A reason.)

    - You’re much less likely to end up with WONS (Whacked-Out Knee Syndrome).

    - It’s less intimidating. Someone who’s not already an athlete is apt to feel embarrassed when passed by those lean, mean runners who speed past without even having the decency to gasp and pant and sound like they’re working at it.

    - There’s less risk. If you’re not used to exercise at all, you need to start out slow or you could overdo things and then reacting by quitting. (The It Hurts and I Don’ Wanna Do It No More syndrome.)
