(FranchisePick.Com) The EEOC is literally taking a bite out of crime this week by winning a sexual harrassment suit against a McDonald’s franchise that had a Grubb for a manager.
A Durango, Colo., McDonald’s franchise has been ordered to pay $505,000 to four teenagers who say they were sexually harassed by their 24-year-old boss, Jason Grubb.
According to the Durango Herald, the four teenage McDonald’s workers said that in December 2003, Grubb began frequently biting their breasts, touching their buttocks and making inappropriate sexual comments. They said the harassment occurred for a number of months.
Two victims and their lawyer will be awarded $450,000, and two victims represented by the commission will receive $55,000, the Herald reported. The McDonald’s franchise has also been ordered to offer “monitored sex-discrimination training until 2011.”
What happens in 2012? Is that when Grubb gets promoted to corporate?
