GTD in Access

December 19, 2004 by admin

Cat made a nice little GTD application with Access and posted it for all to see.  I’ve been messing around with it a little bit and I kinda like it.  What I’d really like to see is something similar for one of the 3rd party Palm database apps.  I used to use ThinkDB pretty heavily back in the day, but they kinda moved on without me and I don’t have anything similar installed on my Palm these days.  Having something like what Cat’s done in Access would probably lure me back to handheld databases…

On a completely unrelated note, Slacker Manager is 56 days old today and this marks post number 100.  It’s the 100 post milestone!

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is a GTD application?
Also, what kind of Palm apps would a manager type like yourself like to see? (I’m looking for a new project).
    Peace out.

    Heh heh heh… I always forget that you’re a Palm developer. :-)

GTD = ‘Getting Things Done’ It’s a book/method of organizing. On the whole, it’s pretty straightforward, but a lot of people are successful at making it really complicated. Not that that’s a good thing.

See the GTD/Lifehacks post for more info:

And try Cat’s Access app–you’ll quickly see what it does…
