Guardian: Retirement Solutions Gets New CFO

Michael B. Cefole has been named the new CFO for Guardian Life’s Retirement Solutions division. The Retirement Solutions division is the unit that provides Guardian Life’s retirement services and products designed for small businesses and retail investors.
Prior to joining Guardian Life, Cefole worked nearly 20 years with Hartford Life where he held many job titles over that time. At Guardian Life, Cefole will report to Scott Dolfi, the Retirement Solutions divisions’ executive VP.
Said Dolfi: “Mike is a strategic thinker, adept at tactical execution and problem solving. He will be an invaluable asset as we continue to build our dynamic, high-growth, retirement business. His years of experience as a senior finance executive in the insurance industry make Mike a perfect fit with our experienced team of retirement, insurance and finance industry professionals.”
Guardian Life was founded in the mid-1800s and currently has more than 8,000 worldwide employees.
