Gulf War Advisory Committee

November 19, 2008 by Scott Wharton

A recent comment on my last post about Gulf War vets and Gulf War Syndrome made it’s way in to my moderate box. As opposed to it being possibly missed, I thought it was a good idea to post the message here because it is important to veterans and anyone that cares about our U.S. Troops and their V.A. Benefits.

The VA has driven Vets away, now is the time to Come Back.

  • This Committee is asking for written comments for Veterans
  • This Committee is allowing Vets to speak before them, during Public Comment Sessions.
  • This Committee is allowing Vets to Teleconference – hearing sessions by telephone.

Why are vets taking part ? Silence is not an Option !

To register for the teleconference, contact Ms. Jackson. Any member of the public seeking additional information should contact Laura O’Shea, http://www.pgev.org

It looks as if registration is too late, but it’s never too late to voice your opinion by writing your congressman and telling them that something needs to be done. Even if you’re not a Veteran, someone you know probably is. They’ve done their part and served their country. It’s time America gave them back a little of their sacrifice.

Thank you “Ven” for the information.
