Gus Hansen blog

Though there’s not a poker book by him, yet Gus Hansen does have a blog.

Unfortunately there’s not a lot of actual poker theory discussion. It’s more like him saying where he went and maybe certain hands, though perhaps if you dig back a bit there’s more discussion of his philosophy.

I liked when they showed him talking on the WSOP and he was sort of discussing his style, basically thinking, “The flop is just as likely to hit me as it is to hit you, so that’s why I play any two cards,” though I know he doesn’t always operate in that gear, as I’ve seen him play really solid poker.

I imagine with the image he’s developed he probably plays much more conservative off-screen and makes a ton of money, with a couple of donk appearances here and there to maintain his rep.
