Halo 3 Beta Launches May 16th
I know this one has been all over the vast expanse of the internet and back again, but it just seems wrong not to toss in a token post about one of the most anticipated games in history.
Mark May 16th on your calendars Bungiephiles! The Halo 3 multiplayer beta will open its gates worldwide on that auspicious day next month. If you’ve been fortunate enough to already snag your beta key, practice up! If you’re depressed and blue that you don’t have one, don’t be. Buying a specially marked copy of the Xbox 360’s Crackdown can get you in on the fun.
While the beta version won’t be the polished version sold at retail, a combination of diverse combat environments, new features and weapons, and three teaser maps will seek to highlight the progression of the franchise to greater heights.
Check out some ridiculous multiplayer fragging:
Personally, I think that a beta key would make the perfect early birthday present for a certain Play-Girlz blogger whose name begins with ‘E’.

This game, just like Halo and Halo 2, is overrated. Console gamers need to open there eyes (buy a PC) and then they’ll realize that what Bungie is doing now has already been accomplished by countless developers over four years ago.
