Hammon Is The Reason The Stars Are In The WNBA Finals

The WNBA Finals are here. And the five-game series will feature the Detroit Shock and the San Antonio Silver Stars.
That’s right. I said the San Antonio Silver Stars. You were expecting to see Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks, weren’t you?
So was I. But then Becky Hammon happened.
With only 1 minute, 57 seconds left 
to play in the fourth quarter, Becky Hammon missed a 3-pointer and fouled Temeka Johnson. She made both free throws, and the Sparks were up by five points. It seemed all but over until the Stars closed out the game and the series with a 9-0 run that gave the team its first ever WNBA Finals appearance.
Seven of those points came from Hammon.
