We work out. A lot. Everyday (usually). Why?

Most of the time its habit, but if you really think about it- why do you work out?

For the rewards

I just like feeling good in my body. Not worrying about which jeans are uncomfortable to wear. Just feeling fit and strong and flexible.

    Great question.

All of the above! Therapy, strength, power, prevention against disease, capability, independence, endorphins, energy, stress reliever, looks, the works:)

Why would anyone want to take meds if they can reap ALL of the amazing and fantastic benefits of exercise?

Also I need to find a pumpkin to do some push ups on. Or eat. Either way.

I have a pretty demanding (aka stressful) job so if I didn’t hit the gym every day I would be a bear. I truly do enjoy working out, it gives me a feeling of being cleansed and doing something good for my body. I know that my heart and bones are getting stronger and that I have more energy. I am not ashamsed to admit the vanity side of it too…. when I catch a glimpse of my thigh muscles in the mirror or that “pop” of my biceps when I pick up something heavy… I like feeling badass!!!

    My benefits of working out:
    -Awesome strength and muscle definition!
    -More energy
    -Stress relief
    -FOOD. :-)

There’s more of course, but those are just a few main ones…

I had to dedicate an entire page to this topic on my blog. In sum, to live longer and be more awesome.

  11. Lance says:

My reward: the feeling of ‘great’ …

  12. my reward for working out is going to bed at night. I sleep so much better when I worked out that day, I feel good about what I accomplished, I’m stress free, and I sleep like a damn baby.

  13. Justy2003 says:

My reward for working out is basically just the way I feel. I feel strong and accomplished after a workout and I know that I did something healthy for myself. It’s a stress relief for me as well, so that helps keep me sane! Also, I get to eat more (which I LOVE)!
