Has Obama made his choice?
It appears that Barack Obama and his Vice Presidential search team may be close to a decision.
While in Washington, D.C. on Monday, Obama met with the leader of the team, Eric Holder, for 3 hours. The Senator did not answer questions before or after the meeting.
Caroline Kennedy, who has worked closely with Holder, was also in Washington on Monday.
There are also reports coming out that Virginia Governor, Tim Kaine, has had “serious talks” with Obama about joining the ticket. Experts/Speculators/Insiders have Kaine on the “very” short list for possible runningmates. Others who are still in contention are: Kansas Governor, Kathleen Sebelius; Senator, Joe Biden (D-DE); Senator Evan Bayh (D-Ind). Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Chris Dodd (D-CT), and Sam Nunn (Former Georgia Senator), have also been considered by the search team.
So… If Obama has made his choice for VP – when should he make the announcement? Should he wait until the Convention – or should he ride the wave of media coverage, following his trip abroad, and announce prior to Denver?

I still like the idea of Bill Richardson.
I don’t think Obama should rush to announce. Convention or just before.
