HD-DVD Xbox 360 will be Cheaper than PS3

Microsoft Xbox 360 with HD-DVD accessory will be cheaper than PS3. UK retailers have got the signal from Microsoft that the HD-DVD component will cost below GBP 130 ($245). The core Xbox 360 is sold at GBP 209 with the premium going for GBP 279. Doing a little Maths, the total cost of a HD-DVD Xbox 360 will be GBP 409 ($770).
On the other hand, the 60GB Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) will be around the $780 range, making it a bit more ex than 360. Prices may vary in different regions but our guess is that Microsoft will try to make the price of their HD-DVD Xbox 360 attractive enough to woo both gamers and non-gamers.
In short, the winner of this HD-DVD vs. Blue-Ray will be determined by the consumers. There will be one DVD format eating dirt and the other, will rule the world.
