I hadn’t read that – thanks for the tidbit Sally. I think I’ll be more surprised if she does come back instead of not returning to the game. I could be way off base – who knows. I’m going to miss her game a lot though.

I was so shocked to see this mentioned on Sky Sports (UK) while I was watching one of the Hamburg matches. I guess we all knew she was struggling a bit, but who would have predicted retirement?! I’ve read that she might come back if she finds whatever she’s looking for off-court (according to her brother). It’s certainly going to be strange without her.

The Tennis Channel had a new news story when I went to their website to see if there was any news in the French Open world. I was surprised and shocked by Justine Henin’s announcement. I can’t beleive that she is leaving this wonderful sport. The world saw her rise to the number one spot and at least she leaves while on top. I will miss her, especially during the FO.
