What do subway maps, dictionaries, finding a date, a personal trainer and doom have in common? The iPod. I stumbled on a great article at Sci Fi Tech about creative uses for the iPod. Bored with just listening to audio or watching videos with your iPod? Why not these creative uses.
With the exception of playing Doom with your iPod the rest should be a piece of cake to do. Playing Doom with your iPod requires that you install Linux for the iPod. With Linux you can play a host of other games such as Pong, Tetris, etc..
A word of caution though, installing Linux means you really must know what you’re doing. Simply saying, you must be a major geek. It will also void your warranty. If you’re a geek and couldn’t care less about your warranty, go for it. You’ll be one of the coolest iPod users around.
Go check out the article and have fun with your iPod.
disclaimer, i’m not responsible if you wreck your iPod if you decide to install Linux….
