Hold On, I Have Great Idea for a Movie

Ok, so, this disgraced ex-NFL quarterback gets sent to jail. But get this, in jail, he still plays football. But not with pro football players, but convicted criminals! I either picture it as a gritty, dark comedy or a slapstick-filled abomination. And we can even do that based on a true story thing at the beginning. I love that!

Vick, a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback who is currently serving a 23-month prison sentence in Leavenworth, Kan. for financing a dogfighting ring, is playing football in prison, Falcons owner Arthur Blank told the New York Daily News.

“He is staying in shape,” Blank told the Daily News. “Apparently, there was a prison football team and he played quarterback for both sides.”

Whoa, wait. They’re letting Vick play all-time quarterback? Are they not allowed to watch the NFL in prison? That’s cruel. And unusual.

I think that Vick’s punishment was a bit severe, yes, what he was involved with was so wrong and evil. But I think a massive fine would have sufficed. Now this guy who has such great athletic abilities and is a 3 time mvp’er is playing yard ball??? Well, you can blame the system, but what it comes down to is Vick. You had it all and threw it away on something terrible.
