TUCKER DETERMINED TO MAINTAIN SIXES SUCCESS
The continued success of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes is a key focus for Darren Tucker as he takes up his new role as chairman of the Hong Kong Cricket Association.
“Obviously, the Sixes is an important revenue stream for the HKCA – but it amounts to much more than that,” he says.
“The tournament also gives Hong Kong cricket global coverage and provides a huge boost to the Hong Kong cricket community.
“It gives the game great exposure locally and is a key component of our drive to develop and expand cricket at grassroots level.”
”The 2008 Sixes is starting to take shape very nicely. We have already signed up two fantastic star names in Damien Martyn and Stephen Fleming and corporate hospitality sales are going very well.
“All the signs are that we are going to have another fantastic tournament, which is great news for the HKCA and local cricket.”
Hoping that this time more people would watch it! Personally, I love the format! And the miniature grounds!

I am delighted to know that sixes 2008 will continue but was disappointed because there is no discount for students at all but others all games offres student 50% discounts but cricket seems to becoming a game for the rich peoples only i think it is must to reconcider about this policy.
and also should treat all the cricket stars equal as administration of sixes offers to europeans,kiwi’s, aussies heros some special offers but they do not offer asians e.g sachin tendulkar,shoaib akhtar,afridi,jay suria, etc.
pls do not let those who are not sincere with the great game of cricket.
