I am pessimistic about this product. First, it is too expensive. Second, Microsoft alway has a problem with a product that will likely be vulnerable to security hacks.

I will wait one year to see if the price is much more favorable and the patches have been released before visiting this subject again.

I'm biased, but I think they overlooked the usefulness of the sidebar. As far as IE7 is concerned, I am impressed. The tabs are intuitive and the text quality is nice. I still use Firefox as well because I like its extensions.

wow another microsoft rip off, YOU WILL REQUIRE, like the bad old days of upgrades,
a dual processor, a min 2 gig ram to use the system.
you will need a pcie graphics card,
vista does not run with nvidia graphics cards very well.
I have tried it with them and had to buy an ati graphics card agp 256 mb ddr, and vista rated that as a 1 out of 10????
the overall rating of your system with vista is @ the weakest link@ so if you have no pcie graphics and or dual core, and ddr2 forget it,
makes me think that , there must be a real close link with manufacturers and microsoft on a certain amount of products,
do not believe then download vista from microsoft , for free, with a key that allows upto 10 pc`s to be used with one key, and watch it slow your system down with 18 gig, YES 18 GIG of op sys,
and the new ie 7 is flawed beyong belief by the likes of malware codeks, etc etc,
if that is a competitor to mozila then w are all doomed,
computer viruses will again rule with the all new crap ie.
