How do you Compare to Other Bloggers?

Technorati released its state of the blogosphere research last week.  Included in the report was information about the characteristics of US bloggers.  While their research didn’t differentiate between business bloggers and personal bloggers, they did find some interesting demographics.

  • 75% of  US bloggers are college graduates
  • 42%  have attended graduate school
  • 57%  are male
  • 50% have a household income over $75,000
  • 50% are on their second (or more) blog
  • 59% have been blogging for more than 2 years

Whether or not you fit the profile above, it’s interesting information if you are planning to work with bloggers to promote your company.  I’ll be sharing more of technorati’s research and how it relatest to business blogging in upcoming posts.
