How Many Ways Can You Expand Your Business?

Have you ever sat down and brainstormed on how you could grow or expand your business? It’s something you should really sit down and think about, maybe have a brainstorm session yourself, with some trusted employees, or business friends.

Sometimes you have to think outside the box to come up with ways to expand your business. They may not be obvious at first. This is a great time of the year to do this exercise. You’re about to get into the last quarter of the year, so you should be thinking ahead to next year, and where your business is going.
If you come up with some good ideas for expanding your business now, you will be able to incorporate those ideas into your goals for the new year.
Here are a few angles you might consider, or maybe you can use these ideas to come up with completely different ideas that relate to your particular business.
- Come up with incentives for current customers to encourage them to purchase again.
- If you don’t have a website yet, or if your website is only limited to giving your company information, consider expanding it to incorporate selling services or goods online.
- If you do have a website think about how you can increase traffic to your website, and help people find your business.
- Think of how your product could benefit other niches of people, and market to that niche.
- Come up with a product to compliment your current product or products.
- Consider the global market, and how your business can play into it.
These are just a few ideas I came up with. I’d love to hear yours. There are many more depending on the type of small business you’re in.
