How Sweet It Is to be Ahead in the March Madness Pool

March Madness has been maddening indeed. 

Initially, those first- and second-round upsets had our panties in a twist (which is no mean feat for Victoria’s Secret thongs, we assure you). But then we realized that, um, everyone else expected Duke, Georgetown, and UCONN to make it to the Sweet Sixteen, too.

Thus, we’re happy to brag about the fact report that we’re tied with Apples and Moustaches for first place right now. Not bad for a chick with a pink and purple blog.*

The Battle of California has the three spot, The Sports Lounge and The Play in CA are tied for fourth, and Bears Necessity is numero six-o. (Hey, we speak German and French, not Spanish. Cut us some slack).

It must be that inherent New England Sports Greatness that helped us with these picks. . . and if that’s any indication, then history suggests we’ll be choking in the finals.
