How to check the Feedburner feed count

David Peralty of eXtra For Every Publisher has posted an interesting tip on how to find a hidden FeedBurner Feed Count called Finding a Hidden Feedburner FeedCount.

Its pretty easy to check the FeedCount of Feedburner for a particular blog or service. Peralty said:

- Feeds on FeedBurner are usually formatted as http://feeds.feedburner.com/feedname

- To view the FeedCount badge, add ~fc/ before the feedname

- The new url should then be formatted like http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/feedname [Source]

Afterwards, the test will show two things:

1) If the feed stats displayed are the same with that displayed.

2) If the FeedCount option is activated.

Aside from validating the feed stats. This tip exposes those who bloat their feed stats, if they use Feeburner’s FeedCount.
