Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 review PS3

So what if Tiger Woods isn’t playing in the 2008 Deutsche Bank Championship? You know there is a place he can still be on your TV. Today, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 was released on many different platforms, including the PlayStation 3. As you can see to the right, that’s my copy. Sitting in a chair that is less than three feet away from me. It’s just tempting me to play it. But I can’t – at least not yet.

I picked up the game at lunch time, so for the time being, Tiger’s video game is going to sit there and mock me while I finish up my work day.

There’s something so nice about being able to put in a golf video game and take a couple hacks on my TV, rather than spending $30-$40 in green fees to do it for real. The game cost me just over $60, but I’m sure I’ll get my money’s worth and play it more than I would want to spend out on the real links.

But for now – I’m stuck wondering what the new game is going to be like and waiting for the next few hours before I can finally tee off. If you already have the game, why don’t you let us all know how it is, so I can sit here and read how much fun you all are having playing it, while I wait for my tee time (which happens to be around 5:30 p.m. Central).

  1. [...] may think Tiger Woods is having just a little too much fun promoting his new video game and rehabbing for his return to the PGA Tour. EA Sports and Woods have a nice little advertisement [...]
