How to Sort Data in MS word

Do you have a lists of names or places and wish to sort them? Or want to arrange those digits to ascending order in your Word documents? Well, what you have to do is read on and relax. Just continue reading and this will help you solve that problem.

To do sorting of data in MS Word, just follow this simple steps:

  1. Using MS Word 2007, click the home tab.
  2. Highlight the text or paragraphs that you wish to sort.
  3. Now, Under the Paragraph Group, click the Sort button labeled as ‘A->Z’.
  4. A dialog box will appear, similar to the one below, that gives you options on how to sort your data.

  5. You now have a sorted data.

Below is a video demonstration on how to sort data with MS Word 2003. Works similarly with MS Word 2007.
