HP Slimline s3330f Crosses The War Lines, Does Both HD Formats

Well, apparently HP isn’t busy taking sides in the format wars. The just announced HP Pavilion Slimline s3330f has some pretty nice specs for being a small machine, but the biggest feature: it packs both a Blu-Ray and HD-DVD drive (read only, though). Featuring a 2.8GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 processor, 500GB SATA drive, a single drive that burns dual-layer DVDs as well as LightScribe them and read Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs, built-in NTSC (analog)/ATSC (digital) tuners, DVI/HDMI out, a wireless keyboard/mouse bundle, and a standard 802.11b/g WiFi card, this puppy packs some power in a small package. My question though is this; if you have HD content recorded and want to stream it, wouldn’t you possibly want the option of the higher spec-ed 802.11n in there as well? Well, you can’t win all the battles. Look to pick this PC up later this month with a starting price of $949.
