Hybrid DVD Blu-ray discs on the rise .. the real “dual layer”

JVC developed the first hybrid DVD Blu-ray disc. It is composed of two layers – one for DVD and the other for Blu-ray lasers to penetrate. The most important thing to remember is that a single disc can contain the same movie under two different formats. Which means that you can watch BOTH the DVD and Blu-ray version on your players.
