Shan Foster, a 6′6 guard, drafted #51 overall, averaged 20.3ppg his senior year at Vanderbilt while netting 46.9% of his downtown tries as well.
He may be a one trick pony on the court, but he’s far from it off the court.

Check out the Unofficial Voice of Your Vanderbilt Commodores. They have up the lyrics of Shan’s song.
If his basketball career doesn’t work out, heck, having a degree and a musical aptitude are quality backup plans.

Shan Foster is 24ct. gold.
He’s already a success in life. He does not need the NBA to “become” successful.
For many of those who ‘know him best’, his nic-name is “Truth”.
While playing on an NBA team may equate with fame for some, Shan knows that ‘fame is fleeting’ and that he’s on that team for a far bigger reason.
Shan will always “look beyond” what’s in this world to what is “to come”.
I’ll be rooting for him!
