I don’t like blabbermouths…

I really don’t. Especially when they don’t know what they are saying. When they shouldn’t be saying it. When they don’t have the right to say it. When they are simply saying it to get some cheap publicity. Like a Basit Ali did.
Malik’s learning, but as I stated on Ottayan’s blog, this series is from being his last. (Okay, some shameless self-promotion there, but I couldn’t help it.)
And ta-dah– Malik’s captaincy has been extended. For a full one year, no less.
In my town, where we’ve just had an exciting match, when someone makes fool of themselves in this manner, we call it a googly. Indian slang for you. Anyone know the Hindi version?

I do from time to time (typically when coaches are poisoned.) I just wish I knew more about it.
I don’t like Basit Ali. Average cricketer, great name.
Sixandout,
Congratulations to you and Malik.
BTW – googly= doosra :)
I am afraid I wasn’t talking about doosra. The word is “chikai”; some call it “jape”. My guess is you are from down South and won’t get it.
Northies any?
tang diya?
You are close; the word is “chikai”. :)
