Idée serves up Lunch 2.0–is it in beta?

I got a Twitter DM this week from Leila at Idee about a geek-together they had today–sadly the b5 bat jet was in use, couldn’t make it–but I saw on their blog that next week they have a cool lunch event planned (still can’t make it):

The first lunch 2.0 in Canada will be held at the Idéeplex in Toronto
What: Join us to check out our cool image recognition and search software, and for some pizza (no pizza pizza here), Italian sodas, dessert, and lots of interesting conversations with passionate people doing cool things around the city. You’ll also get a glimpse of what cool new technologies we’ve got in the works!
When: Friday February 22, 2008, Noon to 13:30

I’m kidding about the lunch being in beta, I think they should all know how to eat pizza by now, but it should be fun!
Hmm, maybe we should have lunch 2.495 out here in Victoria (we’re at about 49.5 N. Lat).
