I’m an official O12 beta 1 tester

I know, I know, you’d think someone that writes a blog about Microsoft and Office 12 would already have a copy of the beta 1 software for Office 12. However, since I just recently started this little endeavor, I hadn’t signed up for those wishlist items before Christmas.

Thankfully, Scott has issued to me one of the golden tickets and I started reading through all the documentation last night. I’m a little nervous about the install though since it’s still a beta 1 product. See, I’m not like other beta testers that probably have multiple machines and plop that sucker down on an extra one lying around the house and play away to their heart’s content.

Nope, my friend I have but one computer (or at least just one that could actually run the software) and that’s my main home machine. Hopefully this weekend, I’ll get all my back-ups completed and install the software and hit the ground with the real-world-end-user experience.

Wish me luck!

P.S. - If anyone out there reading this would happen to have a laptop or tablet PC strong enough to test Office 12 on, and would like to donate it to a worthy cause. Just leave me a comment!

Hello, I have a laptop, which is good enough to run Office Beta 1 (1.1GHz, 512 Ram, thought extra-slim). I would like to test it and submit bugs, if any (though I am sure there are)

Up until this point, and I will continue to be, I’ve been a Macromedia Dreamweaver user for my web development. I think the first version I purchased was Dreamweaver 2.0. [...]
